We have for sale or trade a very rare Banjo for $750.00 OBO, an original "Bacon" Banjo from the 1920's. It was made in in Groton, Conn. It is signed on the rear of skin, and also has the stamp of manufacture on the wood, with the serial number 18132 and it is a "Style-C" It is the short Banjo measuring a total lenght of 31 1/2 X 11 1/2. The Neck measures a total of 20 Inches. It has a "Bacolite" hand rest and a pick holder, which is supposed to be factory. It plays beautifully and stays in tune well. The skin is worn and needs replacing. Wood and metal is original and in good condition. Case is original, it locks, and it also is in good shape.
